I was recently laid off from my job of 5 years. My boss was strapped for cash and refused to give me my final paycheck until I threatened to take action with the Department of Labor. Now he hates my guts and I can’t list him as a job reference to future employers. What should I tell people when they ask why I don’t have any references?

They would be more like student networking letters, even though I graduated a year and a half ago.

Ok i have had a job at Petco for a little over a year now and i really **** i there. I just applied to a new Payless Shoe store and have a job interview monday. But will me changing jobs look bad when i apply for a job in the future?

limited contact with people (Im very shy and not socialble)

I love science but not that great at math.
