Wheres the best place to get a tattoo but with it being an interference in future jobs and stuff?

future jobs
M裏 ß𧧠asked:

I was thinking of getting a tattoo in memory of my father. I was thinking of a cross with my name and my dad’s name going through it and a lil design or something where ever else. I want it to be seen but not get in the way of future jobs and stuff.

Wear clothes, then anywhere you can’t see is good.

The back of your neck, I plan on getting one there.

If you still want it to be visible, I think the ankle is the most appropriate place. It’s subtle and it won’t show up if you’re behind a desk.

Hmm, Well I’m sorry about your father.
Maybe get it on your shoulder blade, It can be seen when you wear tank tops or tube tops :D
    Hope I helped

I have one on the right side of my back. Its good because you can cover it up with just a t shirt, or you can wear a cami or tank and let it show. And the ankle. Pants can cover it up, capris or shorts to let it show. I also know a girl who has one on her side, right above her hip bone. Her shirt covers it, but if she wants to show it, she can lift her shirt. The first two seem easier tho.

Anywhere that is normally always covered… Butt, hips, breast/chest, lower back and abdomen, upper thighs, upper arm. But beware that these are also the areas that are affected firsts when any weight gain occurs and may distort the script/lettering…. Good luck with choosing a spot its a great way to remember your father. My personal opinion for location would be your chest closest to your heart!

Your foot is a good spot. You can cover it, but also show it off when wanted.

Shoulder or Chest. You’ll see him every day when you wake up. Besides its for you, not anyone else. So it could be anywhere and be fine. :-)

I wouldn’t put it on your hands, wrist or neck those places are pretty open most of the time. Your shoulders, chest (keeping away from a shirt collar area), back, upper legs are places that can be hidden while you are at work. Think about how the the dress code at your work place will cover your body. Then get one where you think you will be able to hide it.

Your line of work will play a big role in this. Some places/industries are more accepting than others.

If you want to be sure your tattoo will never cause any problems, get it somewhere that will always be covered while you’re at work… thigh, middle back, etc. Unfortunately, if it is somewhere it can be seen, you run the risk of it becoming an issue.

i have a piece down my ribcage. i think its an AWESOME place to get tattooed cuz theres a lot of space, as long as you wear a shirt nobody can see it, and when u wear a bathing suit at the beach or the pool or whatever, you can show it off!

good luck and im sorry for your loss
