What jobs can I get with a degree in Kinesiology?

I am thinking about going to college next year for a degree in this but first I want to know what future jobs I will be able to get with this kinda of degree. What I wan to do with it is get into occupational therapy or physical therapy or maybe working in a college sports department, I dont know though are any of these possible or not. What kind of jobs can I get?

    Perhaps someone with a degree in kinesiology or exercise physiology may be able to get a job as a personal trainer or work in a rehabilitation clinic. I’m not sure, however, how many people get jobs working in a rehab clinic or hospital without a degree in physical or occupational therapy. There are so many students graduating from those programs that employers seem to have their ‘pick of the litter’ of those that have a more specialized degree than a general kinesiology or exercise physiology degree. The bachelor’s degree, however, may provide a good background for entering a master’s degree in programs such as physical or occupational therapy. Please note that even the occupational therapy field can be quite emotionally as well as physically draining even though the career description in the occupational outlook handbook doesn’t always point to that.

    For general career info: and can search ‘fitness workers’, ‘physical therapists’, ‘occupational therapists’ or such.

    Regardless of one’s career path, please make sure that the program is accredited within the industry.

    Please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools such as penn foster, everest, stratford career, university of phoenix, capella, kaplan, walden, ITT tech, devry, ashworth, US career, strayer and others as they are merely out to ‘make a profit’ (and course credits may not transfer): and can type into search.
