jasneet asked:
I am eligible for Philosophy Honors in one of the most sought after colleges in Delhi University.
I have no issues with either the college or the crowd there but, i am confused about the course! I am absolutely clueless regarding its future aspects or the post graduation or the kind of jobs i will be expected to do!!
Would like to hear from anybody who has some information regarding my query and please, as soon as possible!!!!

I know a family friend with a degree in Philosophy and it’s been useless to them .. at least here in Canada. The only thing you can do with it is teach courses on Logic at colleges…which is a bit hard noting the economic times. You might want to try something more fail-proof.
Good luck!
If you get a BA in philosophy, it might help you get various random jobs because it is a kind of “general education” that proves you are capable of thinking well. This can include management positions in a business. (See link below.)
However, it can be difficult to find a perfect job if you become dissatisfied with an ordinary life. You might want to do something important, and in that case you might have to find your own destiny without worrying about society’s expectations.
