		<description>I believe that previous employers (at least in my state) are mandated so they cannot release much information besides confirmation that you worked there, they cannot say specific negative things about you.</description>

		<description>It really just depends.  The most negative thing they can hear is that you weren&#039;t a good worker.  Taking care of a sick child is normal, and 90% of employers will probably be fine with that.  If they aren&#039;t, thank your lucky stars, they probably wouldn&#039;t be flexible to you taking care of your child in the future.

Anything can happen between now and Monday, so keep applying, don&#039;t wait for the formal offer.</description>
