How do I go about finding sponsors for my small business?

I am a college student with aspirations of becoming an entrepenuer. I would like to open a Event Planning/ PR firm and I actually want to throw my own events at nightclubs for other college students, in the near future and I would like to know aside from loans and things of that nature how can I get sponsors to sponsor my first event?

    you get loans and htings of that nature. See, here’s the deal. If you get a “sponsor”. They’ll want a percentage of money earned. Ok….go to main street at 12:00am….look for vinney, he’s part of a group of good fellas that are moer than willing to help. You can bet your life on that.

    The first bug step is to have a business plan. You will need to define the direction of the business and then project the financial requirements to meet your goals. If you are not an accounting type you would probably do well to find one to help you with the business plan.

    Investors will then be able to see you business concept and the potential return for their investment. And most importantly, if you have a professional business plan they will take you seriously.

    Bank and other financial instituitions,suppliers( creidit for start up),relatives are the main start up beginners.
