How do I become a trader on the floor of the New York Mercentile Exchange?

future firm

Firm names that trade futures, recruiters names, etc… would help.
Let me add, I’m already in the financial industry as a trader, been doing it for 2 years now. I mostly work in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options. I’m looking for a way “in”.

I’m pretty sure there are a very limited number of “seats” (they mostly stand and run around I think) on the exchanges. Mostly investment firms own them or people inherit them sometimes I think. It costs like a million for a spot I think.
