nice to c ur interest in India for further education
it all depends on how much dedicated u r in the field of medicine!!
these days life has become so MECHANICAL all over the world!!
the so-called dedication in medicine may just be an EYEWASH!!
i would suggest u to give lot of thought before embarking in this venture!!
    all the best for everything!

A mere high school education is not sufficient. So, you need to study further. Where you study or what you study is not very important. You do your best is very important. Formal education broadens your out look on different planes of life and prepares you to face the life under different circustances.
    Wishes you good luck.

No, if you want to be in the health professions but want a secure, good paying job, I recommend pharmacy.

If you are planning on coming back to America to practice medicine, then don’t think too hard about going to India because you have to be recertified, take all your board exams again, and you may have a lot of difficulty finding residency. If you’re going to India and staying there for good, that may be a good idea since India doesn’t require as many years of schooling to complete a medical education. There are many 5-year programs there. In the US, you have to go through a 4 year BS followed by a 4 year MD.
