I have a relative who is considering this approach to estate planning. Her estate is not particularly large, but she is single, a cancer survivor and would like to have a living will among some other things.

In addition, some of her heirs are more than a bit “wayward” so she is wary of what will happen in the future with other heirs and family members. The monthly membership fee strikes me as a bit odd/potentially expensive.
