I recently quit my job in the fast food industry because the management changed for the worse and I couldn’t take it anymore. I have applied at several other places and was wondering if quiting without notice will affect whether or not I am hired.

I was just called by Just For Laughs, an entertainment company whose job I gladly would have accepted, if it hadn’t been for another offer I already accepted. If I’m looking for another job in the future, do you think it would be alright to apply to the same company I just turned down, again?
The jobs I was offered were both seasonal summer jobs, so nothing long term. They called me on the phone, so I didn’t come in for an interview or anything, I simply thanked them for the opportunity and told them I had already been offered a job elsewhere. I hope that would be considered polite. Should I send an email to the same address that I applied?

I know someone that just filed a workman’s comp claim because of a broken limb and it may be necessary to have surgery to correct the problem. Are future employers allowed to find out about a workman’s comp history and, if so, can this be used as a deciding factor when you are applying for a job?
