Are there any catches to “The Bulletproof Trust” from The Hughes Law firm in Colorado?

future firm
Lance B asked:

I have a relative who is considering this approach to estate planning. Her estate is not particularly large, but she is single, a cancer survivor and would like to have a living will among some other things.

In addition, some of her heirs are more than a bit “wayward” so she is wary of what will happen in the future with other heirs and family members. The monthly membership fee strikes me as a bit odd/potentially expensive.

Of course. Nothing’s perfect. Also, if she has a small estate, it’s probably unnecessary. She should just get a good estate planning attorney to draw up a simple will and trust.

Its not necessary to join any membership. A will and an attorney to set it in motion is all she needs. The monthly crap is a scam. Take care.
