I never had a job before, i know it sounds pathetic. I’m 19 and in community college full time now. Now i was wandering if getting a job like a fast food place is a good way to meet new friends. Also, is this a good way to meet a potential girlfriend in the future. Or would working someplace else be better than this, i know you have to socialize on the job so its the best opportunity to meet people right.

I was recently laid off from my job of 5 years. My boss was strapped for cash and refused to give me my final paycheck until I threatened to take action with the Department of Labor. Now he hates my guts and I can’t list him as a job reference to future employers. What should I tell people when they ask why I don’t have any references?

I’m interested in developing contacts in a few different industries and areas of the country but do not need a job in these places in the immediate future. Should I continue looking into networking letters.

They would be more like student networking letters, even though I graduated a year and a half ago.
To Faz,
That wasn’t very specific to networking LETTERS.

Ever since i was little, i had been wanting to be a veterinarian. Now as I am growing older, I have an interest in neonatology. I love both of the jobs and what they entail equally, but I just don’t know which one to choose. I babysit over the summers, and it seems more and more that i want to go into the medical field helping sick newborns. I know that both careers take a lot of schooling, but im willing to.
-I love working with animals and helping them on a day to day basis-
-i love making a difference in the life of a child. They are so cute and I want to be one to save their life.
Just knowing that you save the life of an animal, or a child is rewarding. so, i don’t know which to choose! if you could help me at all, it would be greatly appreciated!
OH! and another question, is there any possible way to work in the hospital at age 15? no matter what the job is??
THANK YOU MUCH!
